The mark draws from the tradition of the Japanese hanko.

Philosophy

The mark draws from the tradition of the Japanese hanko — the personal seal used for centuries to authenticate, sign, and claim authorship. Enclosed within a perfect circle, the letterforms are abstracted into a dense, interlocking composition that reads simultaneously as initials and as a single unified glyph. The circle is not decoration; it is containment, intention, and completeness. Like a seal pressed into paper, it carries weight.

The deep crimson red (beni, 紅) is the only hue the mark wears — base Beni on light grounds, Beni Light on dark. A deliberate reference to the ink of the stamp, and to the quiet authority that comes with it.

The dashed ring shows the required clear space: inner radius ÷ 4 on all sides. Nothing may enter that zone.

Minimum clear space = inner circle radius ÷ 4 on all sides. No text, imagery, or graphic elements may enter this zone. This breathing room is ma — it is part of the mark.
